A New Chapter: Going Full Time with Hollowponds

Over the past couple of years, Hollowponds Solo Sagas has been a passion project—a place where I could explore storytelling, play some games, and share the magic of solo roleplaying with anyone who cared to listen.

Today, I’m excited—and not a little nervous—to share that we’ve taken a huge step: I’m now going to work as a full-time creator and storyteller (writer).

No more squeezing videos into weekends. No more writing in the gaps between meetings (when I had them). Hollowponds is now my focus, my craft, and, in time, my livelihood.

This wasn’t a decision we took lightly. Like many of you, I’ve spent years balancing responsibility, passions, and practicalities. But with the loss of my job, the move to the Netherlands, and—well—the truth that storytelling, solo gaming, and creating worlds and characters have always driven me forward... it’s time to listen to the call and take the risky dive.

• What does this mean for you, the Hollowponds community?

  
  

• More time for content – I’ll have more time to create stories, series, and new ideas, especially for those members of the Adventurers Guild Early Doors who support me so much.

  
  

• New Books – I’m working on several writing projects, designed both to help and inspire fellow solo players—and a bit of fiction too.

  
  

• More ways to connect – The newsletter, behind-the-scenes insights, and eventually small community spaces for true fans. This week, I’ll be creating some social media spaces and starting to share more.

  
  

• A growing creative journey – and I’d love to bring you along for every step.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has joined me so far. Every comment, every view, every message, every Super Thanks, and every member of the Adventurers Guild—Hollowponds has always been about more than just dice and characters. It’s about shared imagination and the courage to create for the sake of creation itself.
