Deadlines hit different when it’s your dream you’re grinding for

Its not a Wheel of Pain at least

Are deadlines somehow easier to deal with when it’s someone else giving them to you?

I’ve been thinking about that today.I’ve got a few on my plate at the moment.I’m cramming to get the Orc Borg layout finished (it’s so close), and I still have almost the whole Lancer project ahead of me.And today is an editing day.

But... when I was working a "normal" job, I really didn’t stress about deadlines.Maybe that should’ve been a sign.Maybe it’s not who gives you the deadlines — maybe it’s what they’re for.

Are they for something that actually matters to you?Something you love doing?Something that has a positive and meaningful impact on your life — beyond just money?(Because let me tell you, there’s very little money in this at the moment.)

Anyway.
